In addition to hiking, there are many other ways to enjoy the Bryce Canyon area’s scenery. Many visitors choose to take the scenic drive to Rainbow Point (18 miles one-way) and stop at a few of the 13 viewpoints along the road on the way back. Some visitors go on guided excursions by local tour companies to get a different perspective on the region’s scenery. Several local outfitters offer guided ATV excursions and horseback rides through national forest land surrounding Bryce Canyon National Park and one company offers muleback or horseback rides into the park’s main amphitheater.
